Bobcats Belong Proudly Sponsors the "You Belong" Event
AUSTIN, TX — Bobcats Belong is thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the upcoming "You Belong" event. This event will be held at the UT Football Stadium in Austin, Texas on May 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in support of Mental Health Awareness Month.
At Bobcats Belong, we everyone belongs and should have a chance to feel at home where they are. Our mission has always been to create safe, supportive spaces for every individual, and now, we’re expanding that commitment to share our mission with everyone in Austin community.
Famous Singer, George Strait, will be volunteering and preforming at the stadium in his support for the cause. The community will get to enjoy food vendors, outdoor games and other treats during and following the event.
"This is our third year hosting this event offering mental health resources," said Taylor Poling, Head Therapist for Bobcats Belong. "Nothing offers the amount of support and gathers a bigger group of people in the area quite like this event does. It always many from across the TXST and UT campus to connect and share some good music."
There were 10,000 people in attendance and in breakout rooms last year. With the Bobcats Belong support, attendance is set to be at 20,000 people this year. Bobcats Belong raised a total of $1.2M and are hoping to make that $1.8M this year in tickets and donations.
This event is not just for college students, its for the community and everyone to come enjoy the activities.

About Bobcats Belong
Established in late 2022, Bobcats Belong is a non-profit organization at Texas State University that aims to provide counseling and support for college students. The organization offers therapy and small group sessions at the Lions River Club at no cost. Bobcats Belong was founded to bridge the gap for those who felt they didn’t belong and didn’t have a safe space to go to and talk about their struggles.
