Bobcats Belong is set to attend Texas State’s Bobcat Career Prep Event
SAN MARCOS, Texas, – May 3, 2025 – Bobcats Belong, a mental health nonprofit dedicated to creating safe and inviting environment, is excited to announce our participation in the Bobcat Career Prep event on May 4 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the LBJ Student Center Ballroom. The organization is looking to recruit recent graduates in Public Relations to join its growing team.
Bobcats Belong was founded to provide support to students to feel seen, heard, and supported. They offer free therapy sessions, support groups, and community programming on campus at the Lions River Club. With momentum growing and donor support increasing, the organization is wanting to expand their team to reach more students at Texas State.
“Our mission has always been rooted in providing for the students and with Bobcats Belong growing each week, we are eager to expand,” said Phelan Flynn, CEO of Bobcats Belong. “We’re looking for caring and creative individuals to join our team and have a passion to help students.”
The positions include a PR/Outreach Coordinator, Social Media Assistant, Marketing Team Members, Event Planning Assistant, and Licensed Therapists.
“We started Bobcats Belong with just three staff members and now have a total of 15 on staff,” said Taylor Poling, head therapist. “We are looking for staff from all different backgrounds and cities who can bring their own stories to students.”
